Pipe insulation for Pex pipes – 10mb Red

£11.00£12.00

Fits on P.E. fi 16, PP fi 16, PEX 16, copper pipe fi 18 and pipes of other types of pipes of similar diameter.

Insulations made of polyethylene foam have properties that stop the diffusion of water vapor, which protects the pipes against dew and corrosion. Due to the very low water absorption (after 24 hours WAvav = 0.1 [%]), the lagging practically does not absorb water.

Thermal insulation made of foamed polyethylene also has sound-absorbing properties.

The cover is adapted to be poured in concrete and other mortars.

Description

The lagging is made of high-quality gray polyethylene foam and additionally laminated on the outside with a red or blue PE foil. They are used as an insulating layer for hot and cold water transmission lines in construction. Laminated covers are used for flush mounting, and the foil protects the cover against the action of cement-lime mortar and against mechanical damage.
